Top equestrian event coming to Shenzhen this week

The 2025 China Equestrian Tour Grand Final (CSI3*)·Shenzhen, one of China’s top equestrian events, will be held in Shenzhen from Jan. 15 to 18.

Certified by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI), the competition is the first high-profile equestrian event hosted by Shenzhen since the city successfully staged the equestrian competitions of the 15th National Games.

As a three-star FEI event with a total prize pool of more than 1 million yuan (US$143,300), the final will attract top riders and horses from home and abroad, delivering a showcase of elegance and athletic power.

The event will be staged at the Guangming International Equestrian Center, a key venue for the 15th National Games’ equestrian competitions. Covering a land area of approximately 50,000 square meters and featuring facilities including riding arenas and stables, the center serves as a all-in-one hub for competition, training, and daily horse care.

An equestrian carnival will be held concurrently outside the venue, during which visitors can learn about the sport and experience its charm up close.
