Dapeng Hospital of Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital

Dapeng Hospital of Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital is Shenzhen’s first comprehensive public hospital with a dedicated rehabilitation specialty. It was designed to serve multiple roles, including rehabilitation medicine research, aviation and maritime emergency medical rescue, emergency response to nuclear and radiation incidents, international medical services, and hospice care.

The facility covers about 97,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 417,400 square meters. The hospital is operated by Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital, one of the city’s earliest Level 3 Grade A hospitals — China’s highest hospital tier. It is known for its strengths in neurosurgery, orthopedics, and burn treatment. 

The facility is equipped with advanced technologies, such as rehabilitation robots, and plans to implement brain–computer interface applications comprehensively.
