Clifftop leisure venue opens near Shenzhen Observatory

Bamboo, a new clifftop leisure venue, has opened near the Shenzhen Observatory, offering visitors panoramic views of the coastline and expanding tourism amenities in the Xichong area.

Located on a cliff overlooking the sea and nearby beaches, the new venue combines light dining with an open-air viewing platform. The design incorporates bamboo and wood materials, blending the structure into the surrounding natural landscape.

Its menu centers on light beverages and snacks, including fruit drinks, coffee and desserts.

The venue operates daily from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors who drive to the area are advised to park near the Xichong Community Health Service Center (西涌社区健康服务中心) and use shuttle services to reach the clifftop location.

The opening further enriches Xichong’s growing portfolio of nature-based tourism facilities and leisure spaces along Shenzhen’s eastern coastline.
