Explore 7th SZ Public Bay Public Art Season's Shekou exhibition area

The Shenzhen Bay Public Art Season, one of the city’s most beloved urban public cultural events, has returned. The latest edition brings art from galleries and museums into residents’ everyday spaces, including park lawns, street corners, and seaside areas.

With three exhibition areas in Shekou, Taizi Bay and the Shenzhen University Town respectively, the seventh edition showcases works by more than 20 Chinese and international artists.

The Shekou exhibition, themed “The New Current,” encourages pushing established boundaries to deepening international dialogue and promoting a more future-oriented vision of urban development. 

Eight installations are scattered across the community, seamlessly weaving art into daily urban life. 

Visitors are invited to photograph all eight artworks and post the images on Xiaohongshu using the hashtags #深圳湾公共艺术季蛇口展区 and #蛇口艺术漫游. 

Posts that receive more than 20 likes will be eligible for a small prize (a canvas bag or a badge, plus coupons for activities in Shekou). 

Winners can claim their prizes at the reception desk of the Sea World Culture and Arts Center by showing their Xiaohongshu posts. 

The event will run until April 16.
