Antuoshan Public Cultural Center

From: Shenzhen Daily

Built on the site of a former quarry, the Antuoshan Public Cultural Center is Futian’s first large-scale cultural complex. It consists of a tower building and a podium, with a total construction area exceeding 100,000 square meters.

The podium, operated by Orange Theaters, features a 1,000-seat international-standard theater, a 500-seat concert hall, four 120-seat black box theaters, an art exhibition hall, and supporting facilities such as rehearsal rooms and piano rooms. The venue is capable of hosting performances of all scales, including musicals, dance dramas, and concerts.

From outdoor to indoor spaces, from daytime to night, a lineup of public benefit activities, including concerts, environmental theaters, and musicals, filled the opening day of the venue, inviting citizens to experience the richness of art first-hand.

With a diverse range of art spaces vertically integrated within one structure, the venue not only improves land use efficiency but also allows art lovers to enjoy various forms of art in a single building.

Through public benefit performances, themed exhibitions, art seminars, fitness and leisure activities, and creative markets, it will create an ecosystem that integrates art creation, performance, and exhibition, and develop a public cultural space with international influence.

By leveraging the ample space in its tower building, the Antuoshan Public Cultural Center aims to attract top cultural and technological resources, artist studios, and creative talent to foster an artist community and build an innovative cultural industry platform and public service hub.
