Pet fair

The 15th China (Shenzhen) International Pet Supplies Exhibition features more than 10,000 well-known brands showcasing a wide range of pet products. These areas encompass the entire pet industry, including pet food, supplies, health products, grooming, and medical care.

Rose festival 

Celebrated as China’s first “World Rose Garden” and known as the “Southern China Rose Center,” Renmin Park is the festival’s centerpiece. Some 300 rose varieties bloom across a 35,000-square-meter floral expanse divided into several distinct viewing areas, each offering a different interpretation of the rose.

Theater screening

Violin concert

World-renowned violinist Lyu Siqing will perform a powerful and lyrical program of Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms in a special one-night recital in Shenzhen. Presented as part of the Pingshan Theater’s “Fine Music” series, “The Echoes of German and Austrian Music” will feature one of China’s most celebrated soloists, accompanied by esteemed pianist Wang Chao.

Epic dance drama

“Pingtan Impression,” a dance drama choreographed and directed by renowned Chinese dancer Yang Liping, will be staged at Shenzhen Poly Theater this weekend. Yang’s only ocean-themed, “superfolkloric” work for crosss-trait cultural dialogue mines the myths, rituals and everyday life of Pingtan, in Fujian Province, to create a classical-myth–meets-contemporary-spectacle celebration of shared maritime heritage.

Masters’ art and craft works

A exhibition at Shenzhen Museum’s history and folk culture division features 75 exquisite works by five Chinese masters. The artists bring distinctive styles and high level of technical skill. Their works have won national awards and received acclaim at home and abroad. The exhibition spans metalwork, hand-woven tapestries, art-cast glass, inkstone carving, ceramics, embroidery, jade carving, and more, offering aesthetic reflections on life and underscoring the cultural depth and innovative fusion of traditional aesthetics with contemporary design.
