On the afternoon of Aug. 20, the conference room of the Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC), next to Shenzhen North Railway Station, bustled with activity.

Longhua District recently designated the Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) as a new overseas service point to support Shenzhen-based enterprises’ expansion into Malaysia.

A 250,000-square-meter-industrial park — the first dedicated esports and cultural creative industries park in Shenzhen — recently opened in Dalang Fashion Town, Longhua District.

An international IP-based indoor amusement complex — integrating multiple themed attractions along with supporting facilities for dining, retail, and performing arts — is set to be established in Shenzhen’s Longhua District.

Longhua District will collaborate with China Mobile Shenzhen to establish China’s first demonstration zone focused on network infrastructure and application scenarios for the low-altitude economy.

Two renowned cultural IPs — “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” and the China Oriental Performing Arts Group — signed cooperation agreements with Longhua District during the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), held from May 22 to 26.
