To prepare for the 15th National Games, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Test Competition was held in early August at the Pingshan Sports Center Gymnasium in Pingshan District.

The highly anticipated ceremonial torch, medals, and other key elements of the 15th National Games were recently unveiled. The flame cauldron was designed by a team led by Li Liquan, vice dean of the School of Design and Innovation at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) in Pingshan District.

Four cross-national doubles teams lit up the court at the Gemdale Sports International Tennis Academy during the inaugural Nets Without Borders Maluan Cup China-International Tennis Open in Pingshan District on Aug. 15.

On Aug. 14, Frenchman Marcus Detrez and his friends — Bastien Ratat, also from France, and Zhong Haosong, from China — visited Shenzhen.

Pingshan District has introduced a new service mechanism aimed at streamlining and accelerating companies’ applications in research and development (R&D), clinical trials, and market registration within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Fourteen enterprises in Pingshan have been included in the Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau’s first batch of 42 advanced smart manufacturing factories for 2025, the highest number in the city.

The Shenzhen Pingshan Medical and Health Data Alliance, which aims to build a comprehensive medical and healthcare data ecosystem platform and enhance collaborative research, was recently launched.

During the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), the Pingshan Pavilion showcased over 200 products from 20 companies, and other pavilions also featured products from Pingshan-based enterprises. Enhanced by smart technologies, these products demonstrate Pingshan’s vibrant cultural industry.
