Meaning:

“亚洲” means “Asia,” and “蹲” means “squat.” Presumably, the “Asian squat” is a posture that includes buttock to ankle contact and knees spread apart past shoulder width. The squatter also keeps their heels firmly planted on the ground instead of rising up on their toes. It’s said that Asian males are often observed exhibiting this behavior in groups, either playing a game of cards or smoking together. People are also seen squatting to take a rest. Caucasians and Africans reportedly find it difficult to perform an Asian squat, because they have longer legs compared to torsos and may tip over in this position.

Example:

亚洲蹲源于印度,然后传到中国。亚洲人民发现这个蹲姿是最理想的进食姿势,同时也是最方便的排便姿势。

Yàzhōudūn yuànyú yìndù, ránhòu chuándào zhōngguó。Yàzhōu rénmín fāxiàn zhè gè dūnzī shì zuì lǐxiǎng de jìnshí zīshì, tóngshí yě shì zuì fāngbiàn de páibiàn zīshì。

Originating in India, the Asian squat made its way to China. Asians figured that it was the ideal way to eat rice and be ready to defecate at any given time.
