Shenzhen is the cradle of China's interior design industry. The city now has more than 2,500 interior design firms employing more than 30,000 people. The industry's annual revenue has reached 1 billion yuan and is enjoying annual growth of at least 25 percent. The interior design industry in Shenzhen is the most fully-fledged in China, capable of offering complete solutions. Its related industries also provide employment opportunities for tens of thousands of people. The China (Shenzhen) International Interior Design Festival, which is held in November each year, has been held five times, with the number of participants growing from 30,000 to nearly 350,000 last year. Shenzhen designers have provided interior design for landmark buildings in most Chinese cities, including the "Water Tube," the "Bird's Nest," the new CCTV tower and the National Grand Theater.

室内设计

深圳是中国室内设计行业的发源地，目前有2500多家室内设计企业、3万多名从业人员，年创造行业收入10亿元，年均增幅25％以上，是中国室内设计产业链最完整、能够提供整套解决方案的城市，为相关行业提供数十万人的就业机会。每年11月举行的中国（深圳）国际室内设计文化节已经进行到第四届，参加者从最初的3万人次、6万人次到去年的近30万人次，今年预计突破35万人次。深圳室内设计师参与了中国大部分城市的标志性建筑室内设计，包括北京奥运会国家游泳中心、中央电视台新台址、 "鸟巢"、国家大剧院、中国银行北京总部以及上海大剧院等建筑。
