Industrial design

Shenzhen's industrial design, especially in timepieces, medical apparatus, consumer electronics, digital products, toys, furniture and home products, dominates the Chinese market. More than 300 Shenzhen companies are engaged in industrial design. Besides design firms, Huawei, ZTE, Konka and other Shenzhen-based multinational companies have set up overseas design departments in the United States, Britain, Japan, South Korea and other countries. Shenzhen industrial designers have won Germany's Red Dot award, IF product concept award, IF China design award and other international honors in recent years.

工业设计

深圳工业设计占据了中国极高的市场份额，特别是钟表、医疗器械、消费电子产品、数码产品、玩具、家具家饰等轻工产品设计方面。目前深圳从事工业产品设计的企业已突破300家，除独立设计企业之外，华为、中兴、康佳等总部设在深圳的中国第一代本土跨国企业已开始在美、英、日、韩等地设立驻外设计部，直接为国外客户提供设计服务。深圳工业设计师近年来多次获德国红点奖、德国IF产品概念奖及IF中国设计大奖等国际奖项。
