Jiaochangwei is a coastal village where a number of B&Bs provide comfortable accommodation.

Located in the east of Shenzhen, Dapeng Peninsula is surrounded by sea on three sides, to the northeast of Hong Kong. The peninsula is close to Daya Bay in the east, bordering on Huizhou, and embraces Dapeng Bay in the west. To best appreciate the splendor of the coastline, Jiaochangwei is a coastal village that you definitely don’t want to miss. There are plenty of B&Bs and seafood restaurants to give you a leisurely break from the city.

Starting in Jiaochangwei and ending in Xichong, the 20-kilometer tour passes through the mountainous areas along the coastline and features a 200-meter climb.

After the downhill section, you will be right on Xichong Beach where BBQs and camping sites are on offer. You can also spend the night in the little cabins that dot the beach.
