新征程是三层含义:
第一个新征程是中国共产党走过了96年不平凡的历程后踏上新征程，也就是踏上了建设社会主义现代化强国的征程。
第二层的含义是党和国家的事业进入了一个新的历史起点，也就是十九大报告里的“三个意味着”：意味着古老的中华民族进入了民族复兴的新的阶段，意味着科学社会主义在古老的中国焕发了勃勃生机，意味着我们这个时代是中国特色社会主义为发展中国家发展提供了中国方案，贡献了中国智慧。
第三个新征程是我们进入一个新的发展目标，为建设富强、民主、文明、和谐、美丽的社会主义现代化强国而奋斗！十九大不仅为中国的自身发展规划了方向，同时为中华民族，为人类的文明发展贡献了新的智慧和力量，从此踏上一个新的征程，进入一个伟大的时代！
