International theater troupes will present children’s plays every weekend in November.
‘Flight School the Musical’ 《飞行学校》
It’s the first day of Flight School, where they teach birds to fly. Penguin has the soul of an eagle and is ready to live on the wind. But he wasn’t built to soar, as the other birds constantly remind him. Penguin’s spirit won’t be grounded. With his “friends of a feather,” and a little help on the technical parts, Penguin follows his dreams to flip, flap, fly! Script by Cara Lustik, music by David Mallamud, lyrics by Joshua H. Cohen and directed and choreographed by Wendy Seyb, “Flight School the Musical” is based on the book “Flight School” by best-selling author Lita Judge and presented by the award-winning Vital Theater Company.
音乐剧《飞行学校》改编自畅销书作者Lita Judge的绘本书—《飞行学校》，作品曾新罕布什尔州瓢虫图画书奖、入选德克萨斯2X2童书榜及2015怀俄明州图书榜。
剧情简介：
今天是在“飞行学校”的第一天，这里会教小鸟如何飞翔。企鹅有一颗想成为老鹰的心，也已经准备好在大风中翱翔。但就像其他鸟儿总是提醒他那样，他不可以飞。可是企鹅的精神是不会被打败的。在一些有羽毛的朋友和一些工具的帮助下，企鹅向着他的梦想，轻轻扇动翅膀，拍动翅膀，展翅飞翔！

‘Palle Alone in the World’ 《帕雷的故事》
Adapted from Danish author Jens Sigsgaard’s children’s book, “Palle Alone in the World” is about a boy who wakes up to find himself alone in the world. He walks into a bank, a candy store, a toy store, drives a cable car and crashes it into a parked cable car and a fire engine. The climax of the story is him flying an airplane up to the moon. In 1949, Danish director Astrid Henning-Jensen made a movie about it, “Palle All Alone,” and won the special prize at the Cannes Film Festival. The children’s play in Shenzhen is presented by Ivica Imi from Croatia.
《帕雷的故事》故事情节取自丹麦著名绘本《Palle alene i verden》。讲述了一个富有想象力的男孩在睡梦中孤独游历世界的故事。

‘The Can, a Story About Friendship’ 《谁动了我的罐子》
ZebraDans from Sweden will present “The Can, a Story About Friendship,” which was choreographed by Anna Vnuk, the Swedish choreographer and director. The story shows greed and conflict between two children by implicating how important but fragile friendship can be.
剧目简介：
有这么一堆好朋友，两个小女孩，他们总是手拉手出去玩，一起打闹。日子好像一直都这么快乐，直到一个罐子的出现。这个罐子看起来真是有趣！外层涂满了五颜六色的涂料，内里沙沙响，摸起来又滑又舒服！两个女孩都想把这个罐子占为己有，她们都觉得这是自己的罐子，不停地问：谁动了我的罐子！一场抢夺罐子的大战即将开始！
