More than 100 pop-up books are on display at Shenzhen Children’s Library for children’s viewing pleasure, including several Meggendorfer Prize-winning books. Free of entry.
12月5日至12月30日“2017立体书的奇幻之旅·福田站”登陆深圳少年儿童图书馆啦。
“Pop-up book” is a term often applied to any book with three-dimensional or movable components, although the broader umbrella term “movable book” covers pop-up books, transforming books, tunnel books, volvelles, flaps, pull-tabs, pop-outs, pull-downs, and more, each of which is manipulated in a different manner.
立体书被称做Pop-Up Book（pop-up是弹出式的意思），兼具书的内容和形式，也拥有玩具的趣味和功能。立体书跳出了平面书的限制范围，创造了三度立体的空间，让孩子可以“动”手去“玩”，用眼去发现、探索设计的精妙。
Every other year, the Movable Book Society awards a pop-up book prize named after Lothar Meggendorfer (1847-1925), a German illustrator and early cartoonist known for his pop-up books. Meggendorfer’s books were popular in Germany and Britain during the 19th century.
On the weekends, Shenzhen Children’s Library will also hold painting and handicrafts events for children.
