Super Species, a supermarket that serves fresh food catering and high-end goods, has celebrated its first anniversary.
The first branch of Super Species opened in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province, in January last year and now it has more than 20 stores in cities such as Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai.
Among the six stores in Shenzhen, Super Species VC & PE Tower Store is a combination of a 24-hour canteen, a self-service supermarket, a bar and a takeout shop.
Consumers can not only buy various kinds of high-quality products that were specially selected from around the world and delivered every morning, but can also eat fresh products such as Boston lobster, Faroe Islands salmon and Australian steak at the canteen in the store.
More than 10 workshops, such as salmon, steak, salad and fruit preparation workshops, cater to many tastes.
All dishes are cooked by the chef on-site and can be delivered to your home in about 30 minutes after you place your order.
By using the self-service cashier system, independently developed by Yonghui Superstores, Super Species has made it easy for customers to purchase goods.
Without having to go to the checkout counter and stand in a queue, consumers can purchase products through the Yonghui Life app or scan the bar code on the product through Yonghui Life miniapp on WeChat and pay via mobile payment.
To enhance virtual integration with physical stores, Super Species also offers delivery service for busy clientele.
Customers within 3 kilometers of the Super Species stores can purchase daily necessities, food, fresh fruits, vegetables, aquatic products, meat, and even cooked food online via the Yonghui Life app or Yonghui Life miniapp on WeChat.
This year, Super Species will continue to develop in the Shenzhen market and new stores will open in Meilin INJOY, Longgang Vanke, Pingan International Financial Center and Shuibei.
