Free computer coding classes for children

First Code Academy, a Hong Kong-based educational organization for training children in coding skills and computational thinking, is now offering free online trial classes for children aged 7-14.

The 50-minute video-call class, which will be in English, requires students to have a laptop with Google Chrome or Safari browser installed and an email or QQ account for accessing App Inventor or Scratch. Students are introduced to the fundamentals and basics of coding from the start of the class. They get to create games and animations and learn fundamental coding concepts.

Class times:

1）Saturday, March 3, 9:00-9:50a.m. / 10:00-10:50a.m. / 11:00-11:50a.m.

2）Saturday, March 10, 9:00-9:50a.m. / 10:00-10:50a.m. / 11:00-11:50a.m.

3）Saturday, March 17, 9:00-9:50a.m. / 10:00-10:50a.m. / 11:00-11:50a.m.
