Is your “little parking lot” full at home? Then share your toy cars with those in need.
Let’s turn your toy cars into fun paintbrushes in the Tire Painting Fun event at a Harbor City art workshop. All donated toy cars will be used in the workshop after a simple check for sanitization. This meaningful activity is educational for children and instills in them the spirit of giving and an awareness of environmental protection. As a requirement, each donated toy car must be no more than 20 centimeters in length and must have flawless wheels.
The art workshop, co-organized by Harbor City and CreativeKids, will be a chance for kids to put some paint onto the toy cars’ tires and roll them over white paper, making a rainbow of tread marks.
如果你家中的「小小停车场」满额，又想转赠陈旧的玩具车？现可让玩具车加入自驾「油」变成创意画笔，培养孩子学习分享，加强他们的环保及资源再用意识。被回收的二手玩具车经检查、清洁后，将于自驾「油」艺术创作工作坊中变成「画笔」，让参加活动的小朋友以你的玩具车完成他们的神奇画作！
海港城将「艺术融入生活」推广至儿童的层面上，与本地知名儿童艺术中心CreativeKids (奇极创作室)合作，在3月24日至4月8日期间于海运大厦地下中庭设置自驾「油」玩具车艺术创作工作坊，结合创意艺术及娱乐玩具，鼓励儿童利用日常事物创作，发挥艺术天赋及创意想像力。
小朋友可驾驶车軚涂上颜料的玩具摇控车，在3x3米的赛车场奔驰，自由创作，七彩缤纷的车轨把赛车场的巨型画纸变成独一无二的艺术品；小朋友又可在导师的指导下，利用各式各样的玩具车，在画纸上以车胎碾压的轨迹再加上无穷想像力，把抽象的线条变成富创意的画作。
*回收玩具原则︰车长不大于20CM; 车胎完整
