HoneyComb, a Shenzhen-based company, showcased its educational products at the 80th ITEEA Annual Conference, on April 12 in Atlanta, GA.

HoneyComb, an innovative set of smart electronic building blocks, is designed for people with no engineering background. The three core product kits, HoneyComb Basic, HoneyComb Music, and HoneyComb Queen, target at children aged from 5 to 12 and above, respectively.

The flexibility and possibility of customizing music allows children to develop their creativity. Just one simple touch will transfer an electric current to any conductive material to form a musical loop that will stimulate a child’s logical and critical thinking. The kits offer various options for different age groups, aiming to satisfy each target segment’s needs.

“We made elaborate preparations for the exhibition, so that the world's best educators could see our products”, said Zhang Jiantao, Marketing Director of HoneyComb.

In November last year, Honeycomb demonstrated its products at the Shenzhen Bay, where the mayor of Shanghai took a visit in Shenzhen. The mayor encouraged Honeycomb to keep the passion and ambition for innovation and entrepreneurship, and bring more innovation and technological benefit to the society.

“We aim to bring children into a new world with unlimited possibilities and encourage them to enjoy the joy,” said Robi Wang, the co-founder of HoneyComb.

The company is an educational company helping young people in K-12 STEAM education (problem-based learning using science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics principles) to produce interactive and creative work.
