Around 70 percent of China Southern Airlines’ tickets from Shenzhen to Moscow for the FIFA World Cup have been sold.
The tickets to fly in for the semifinals and final of the soccer World Cup have been sold out, sources from China Southern Airlines said yesterday.
The full fare for a single trip in the economy cabin remains 5,088 yuan (US$793) with 1,658 yuan in taxes included.
The World Cup will be held in Russia from tomorrow to July 15. The China Southern flight leaves Shenzhen at 3:55 p.m. and takes 9 hours and 30 minutes.
The airline cooperated with tourism agencies to offer discounted fares this summer. Some fares are as low as 1,600 yuan (tax not included).
At present, China Southern Airlines operates four routes to Moscow from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Urumqi.
