Bang Gang to hit A8 Live| July 14

Iceland downtempo band Bang Gang will tour in Shenzhen this weekend.
The band was founded by songwriter/producer Baroi Johannsson in 1996. Bang Gang was initially a surf band but Johannsson quickly steered the project in a more melodic pop direction.

While Johannsson has worked with a number of vocalists and musicians, he remains the only constant member. The most recent album “The Wolves Are Whispering” has been described by the press as “atmospheric ghost pop” and has a sound that is unique.
The band has toured the world playing at festivals like Iceland Airwaves, the Cannes Film Festival, Novosonic, for Noise, the Montreaux Jazz Festival, CMJ and SXSW and a number of independent shows at venues such as Salle Pleyel, Gramercy Theater, Getty Center and more across Europe and America.
