From July 5 through August, Futian District is embracing a slew of fashion-themed activities that aim to present the most fashion-forward designs to residents. On the evening of July 5, a launch ceremony was held at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel, signaling the opening of Fashion Futian.
The event was led by the Futian’s District Government and co-organized by the Futian Economic Promotion Bureau and Shenzhen Garment Industry Association. More than 600 people attended the launch ceremony, including city leaders, business representatives, brand designers, fashionistas, media and spectators.
At the ceremony, Tony&tony’s, a fashion brand based in Futian, led the audience to a wonderland of romance by presenting its 2019 spring/summer women’s collection themed “Moon River.”
During the festival, the organizers will provide series of activities. Targeting the traditional retail industry, the 2018 Fashion New Retail Summit held July 5 aimed to build an all-new full-channel retail model, creating a user-oriented mobile application platform and promoting the innovation of the garment industry.
From July 5 to Aug. 2, the most representative fashion brands of Futian District, joining hands with shopping malls such as Coco Park, 9 Square, and City Plaza, hosted shows featuring the brands’ latest products.
“Pop-Up-Store,” an activity involving the participation of more than 100 designer brands, will create an original and unique flash sale, enabling residents to pick up their favorites in a quick and convenient way.
In a bid to promote business prosperity and expand consumption, Futian District has carried out various kinds of commercial activities in collaboration with local major shopping centers and commercial brands in industries such as clothing and electronics since 2013.
