Chinese contemporary artist Jiang Zhi will show three of his short films at OCAT Shenzhen’s library.
Jiang Zhi
Having graduated from the China Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou, Jiang’s artistic practice ranges widely from oil painting to videography, installation art, sculpture and photography. He is generally considered one of China’s most diverse and avant-garde artists of his age. He worked as a photographic journalist in Shenzhen in the early 2000s.
The three short films are “Forefinger,” “In the Woods” and “Zi.”

After the screening, Jiang will talk with visual artist and film director Chen Ying and sound artist and musician Shen Piji.
Meanwhile, 10 Chinese contemporary artists are exhibiting their short stories along with paintings, sculptures, videos and photos at the exhibition “Fiction Art” at OCAT Shenzhen’s exhibition halls.
