Chinese pianist Tong Xin, who obtained his master’s degree at Juilliard School, will play Bach’s “Prelude in C Major” and “Goldberg Variations,” Beethoven’s “Piano Sonata No. 8,” Chopin’s “Nocturne, Op. 9, No. 1” and “Ballade No. 1 in G Minor.”

Firefly Orchestra

Firefly Orchestra, which was formed by teachers and graduates from top Chinese conservatories, will bring a night of Joe Hisaishi’s movie scores for children. Hisaishi has composed scores for most of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films.
