The week’s opening concert, titled “Sizhu Peony Pavilion: the 40th Anniversary of Career World Tour Futian Station,” will bring the audience to the south of China by way of music. The release ceremony for Fang’s new album “Sizhu Peony Pavilion · Water Mill” will also be held at the concert.

“The Beauty of Traditional Chinese Music: Celebration Concert of the 40th Anniversary of the Reform and Opening Up” is the guiding sentiment of the music week. Fang will play classical pipa works including “House of Flying Daggers” and “Memories of the South.”
