Local Brazilians mark Independence Day

People celebrate the Independence Day of Brazil at Brazilian restaurant Latina at Sea World in Shekou, Shenzhen, yesterday. Many people joined the local Brazilian community, estimated to total around 100, to mark the day. A national holiday observed in Brazil on Sept. 7 of every year, the date celebrates Brazil’s Declaration of Independence from the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves on Sept. 7, 1822.
