Shenzhen police will impose traffic controls on the roads around Shenzhen Civic Center between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. tonight for an evening party marking the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up.
The evening party will be held from 8 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. in the square of Shenzhen Civic Center. Vehicles will be banned from entering the core CBD areas encompassed by Jintian Road, Yitian Road, Fuzhong Road and Fuhua No. 1 Road. Police may impose temporary controls on Xinzhou Road, Lianhua Road, Caitian Road and Fuyuan No. 3 Road depending on the real-time situation, according to a public notice from the police.
Shenzhen transport commission also closed some exits of Metro stations in the CBD area yesterday for the rehearsal of the ceremony. The C, D and E exits of Civic Center Station and A2 and C2 exits of Children’s Palace Station were closed from 6 p.m. yesterday. A total of 18 bus routes passing through the CBD area were also adjusted from 6 p.m. yesterday.
