THE ferry service connecting Yantian District and Nan’ao of Dapeng New Area, which was suspended in September due to Typhoon Mangkhut, resumed yesterday, according to Shenzhen Municipal Transport Commission.

The typhoon seriously damaged the ports in Yantian and Dapeng and the service was suspended for nearly a month.

The ferries commuting between Yantian Port and Nan’ao Shuangyong Wharf are operated by the Shenzhen Oceanus Group, and there will be eight ferries departing from both ends every day. Service hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The fare for a single-trip is 50 yuan (US$7.35) per person for economy class and 70 yuan per person for business class. A single trip takes 70 to 90 minutes.
