Tencent Holdings Limited, founded in November 1998, ranks among China's biggest Internet service providers, with the most number of users. Tencent (H00700) was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2004. The company, whose subsidiaries specialize in social network, finance and many other sectors, has created an open-end ecology offering up millions of jobs and start-up opportunities. Start-ups related to Tencent are valued at several hundred billion yuan. The Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands published on June 20, 2018 listed Tencent at No. 2.
