The Futian Hi-tech Achievement Exchange Exhibition Center, serving as a platform to fully display and promote the high-tech achievements in Futian District, officially opened on the afternoon of Jan. 22.
Built by the Futian government and the district’s science and technology innovation bureau, the center is located on the sixth floor of the Consumer Electronics Exchange/Exhibition Center in UpperHills Loft.
The exhibition halls will focus on displaying the technological achievements of high-tech enterprises developed in Futian in recent years, covering the fields of the Internet of Things, scientific and technological innovation, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, new energy and materials, intelligent manufacturing and incubators.
“The exhibition center is aimed to promote the application of high-tech achievements of State-owned high-tech enterprises in Futian, so as to support the high-quality development of enterprises in the district,” said Zhang Zhonghui, chief of the district’s science and technology innovation bureau.
At present, 205 State-owned high-tech enterprises and incubators in the district have entered the center for exhibition, presenting their past and showcasing their latest technological developments.
Shenzhen Corerain Technologies Co. Ltd., a leading artificial intelligence application innovator and Shenzhen Keanda Electronic Technology Co Ltd., a national high-tech enterprise, are among the first batch of companies that have entered the exhibition center.
Huang Wei, executive deputy head of Futian District, said Futian is building a new engine for innovation-driven development in the new era. As the central urban area of Shenzhen, Futian not only hosts the national high-tech fair, but now also has its own hi-tech exhibition center.
According to Huang, the center is a platform built by the local government for high-tech enterprises in Futian. It is a showroom for product marketing and an important window for technological exchanges between enterprises in the district, city, country and even the whole world.
Enjoying unique geographical advantages, Futian District has been devoting itself to building a high-level scientific and technological innovation hub by leveraging innovative resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In recent years, the high-tech industry, emerging industries, and national high-tech enterprises in Futian District have witnessed drastic growth. Meanwhile, Futian remains one of the largest R&D and sales bases of consumer electronics products in the world.
