The Third Drone World Congress and the Fourth Shenzhen International UAV Expo will be held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District from June 20 to 22 this year, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported Thursday.

Co-organized by the China Information Technology Industry Federation, Nanshan District Government and Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, the event is expected to attract more than 50,000 experts, scholars and professional audiences from over 100 countries and regions around the world to attend.

The Third Drone World Congress is themed “Science and Technology Make Life Better.”

The first preparatory meeting for the drone congress was held Wednesday, making preparations for the congress’ plenary session and nearly 30 sub-forums.

Additionally, long-endurance, manned, fixed-wing and vertical takeoff and landing UAVs and other globally leading drone products will make appearance at the expo.

The expo is aimed to build a one-stop trading platform for well-known manufacturers, purchasers and government departments, as well as to help excellent domestic drone brands to tap into the global market.
