Sanyuesan temple fair in Bao'an

A grand parade, Cantonese opera performance and other folk activities were held yesterday in Xixiang Subdistrict, Bao'an District, to mark the opening of the First Bao’an Folk Culture Festival Xixiang Venue — the North Deity Ancient Temple Sanyuesan Temple Fair.
Sanyuesan, meaning the third day of the third month on the Chinese lunar calendar, is a festival worshipping the birth of the North Deity. This year, Sanyuesan falls on April 7.
