A group of 18-year-old girls in red folk costumes attracted the attention of a big crowd at the bustling OCT Harbour on the afternoon of June 8. What they did next wowed the spectators.

It turns out that these young women are Tajiks from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Although its population is small, the Tajik ethnic group enjoys a long history. Three days before their flash dance, they came to Shenzhen to prepare. Their trip to Shenzhen was made possible thanks to the financial aid provided by the volunteers with Shenzhen Jiuteng Culture and Education Foundation, Heungkong Charitable Foundation and other warm-hearted people.
