An exhibition room with immersive projections of Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night.”

Twenty-one unique works, such as “Almond Blossoms,” “Still Life: Vase With Irises Against a Yellow Background,” “Van Gogh’s Chair” and “Bedroom in Arles,” were selected as the core content of the exhibition. The organizer has obtained the copyright of the works from eight top global museums. The exhibition re-creates many scenes from Van Gogh’s paintings, which will definitely be an ideal place for taking selfies.

A projection of “Van Gogh’s Chair.”

Van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterized by bold colors and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art. He was not commercially successful, and his suicide at 37 followed years of mental illness and poverty.
