Meaning:

“超” means “super,” and “A” is short for “alpha.” Social animals in a hierarchical community are sometimes assigned ranks in ethology studies. The term “alpha animal” refers to “the highest-ranking individual,” which usually gains preferential access to food and other desirable items, such as a preferential access to sex or mates. Beta animals often act as second-in-command to the reigning alpha, and omega refers to the lowest caste of the hierarchical society. When fans describe their idols as “super alpha,” they mean the person they talk about is very powerful, charismatic or masculine. This term can be used on both male and female.

Example:

A: 丽丽交了个新男友,听说是校队打篮球的。

Lìli jiāo le ge xīn nányǒu,tīngshuō shì xiàoduì dǎ lánqiú de。

Lili has a new boyfriend. They say he’s on the school’s basketball team.

B: 我见过,小伙子又高又帅,超A的。

Wǒ jiànguò,xiǎohuǒzi yòugāo yòushuài,chāo A de。

I’ve met him. The guy is tall and handsome, also very masculine.
