Medicine vending machines available at Shenzhen airport 24/7

Four 24/7 automatic medicine vending machines have been placed at the Shenzhen airport, offering more than 50 common over-the-counter medicines, according to the Shenzhen Evening News.

These vending machines are located next to Gate 7 of the domestic departure hall, Gate 26 of the domestic departure hall, Gate 5 of the international departure hall, and on the second floor of the ground traffic center.

As the first airport in the country to launch streamlined medical services, Shenzhen International Airport will offer more medical convenience for travelers with the vending machines that are available around the clock.

Medicines are kept at a constant temperature 24/7. Information, including batch number and expiry date, has been stored in the system so that staff will be informed when the medicines are approaching their use-by date, according to staff at the airport.

The machines currently support WeChat payment and Alipay but do not accept health insurance cards.
