East Coast in Yantian

To achieve the citywide objective of developing each international community according to its unique attributes, East Coast Community in Yantian District is committed to fully exploring all kinds of social resources and talent resources to “combine the East and the West” and is proactively seeking the construction of an international living environment in accordance with the principle of “people-oriented, serving the people.” For the past few years, the community has taken constructive measures, such as renovating its facilities, holding diverse and interesting cultural events, and building a bilingual volunteer team to provide consultation services to foreign residents, to strengthen its community services and enrich its community culture. As a result, some 130 foreign residents from 27 countries live in the district and have found a strong sense of belonging thanks to Yantian’s accumulated efforts in creating an internationally inclusive environment.
