Meaning:
Literally translated as “little wolf dog,” this term refers to handsome young guys who are confident, strong and determined about winning the heart of those they love, usually a woman years older than themselves. First used by fans to describe their idols, this term was given as a nickname to Japanese actor Ryo Ryusei, whose 2016 TV series “Kenja No Ai” (“The Saint’s Love”) won him a high popularity among Chinese women.
