The 2019 China (Shenzhen) Autumn Tea Exposition will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Dec. 12, the organizer announced at a news conference yesterday.

As a major exhibition for the tea industry in China, this year’s exhibition covers 100,000 square meters with 4,700 booths. Around 1,800 tea-related enterprises from home and abroad will take part in the exhibition.

The nine halls at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center are designated with different functions, such as brand-name teas, tea culture, and exhibition halls for government delegations, overseas exhibitors, porcelain, teaware and household decorations.

More than 20 government delegations from tea-producing cities and counties will participate in the expo. Buyers from 22 countries and regions, including Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Russia, will attend the exposition.

A sideline event of the expo, the 2019 China Tea Industry Technology Annual Conference, jointly organized by China Tea Science Society and Shenzhen Tea Culture Promotion Association, will be held at Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pingshan District, bringing together experts and scholars to share ideas and discuss trends in the industry.

Entering its 11th year in Shenzhen, the organizer has also organized more than 100 tea exhibition-related activities in 30 Chinese cities over the past decade.
