Running with the trams

The 2019 Longhua Mini Marathon kicked off on Dec. 8 and was attended by 4,000 runners. The distance of this year's mini-marathon was lengthened to 18 kilometers, nearly that of a half marathon. A four-kilometer family running event was also held. Contestants could run alongside the Longhua trams at the mini-marathon, making it the only road-racing event of its kind in China.
