Main building of Harrow International School Qianhai completed

The construction of the main building of Harrow International School Shenzhen Qianhai was announced to have finished Saturday at the site of the project in Qianhai’s Qianwan Area. 

The school is located next to Qianwan Park Station of Metro Line 5 and is at the intersection of Tinghai Road and Qianwan Road 4. 

The project covers an area of about 46,500 square meters. The total developed area of the complexes will be around 139,240 square meters. 

It will provide a kindergarten, primary schools, secondary schools and senior high schools to local residents. 

Its international school will be taught in English while the bilingual Innovation Leadership Academy will offer nine years of compulsory education in English and Chinese.

The international school plans to enroll about 1,000 students in 40 classes. The international school plans to enroll about 1,000 students in 40 classes. The academy plans to enroll around 1,500 students in 50 classes.

The international school will open enrollment in September 2020, while the academy is scheduled to start enrollment in September 2021.

The project is designed He Jingtang, who is not only the pacemaker in Lingnan architecture, but also the important role in current educational architecture design domain.

According to the construction team, the main structure took only four months to be completed, which ensures the smooth opening of the school next year.
