Please Note

Futian and Longgang districts are inviting you to submit original short videos featuring your life at home during the current novel coronavirus outbreak to win cash prizes or fitness gifts.

Futian District

Depict your daily life during the government’s call to stay home and avoid large gatherings. You can record your cooking, craft-making, studying, exercising, work or any other interesting activities you can do from home.

Submissions should be 10-60 seconds long and shot at a resolution of 1280x720. Both vertical and horizontal videos are accepted.

To participate, download the TikTok (抖音) app, search “福田宅家战疫,” tap the topic (话题) category, then tap “参与” to shoot or upload a video and finally “@” the organizer’s TikTok account (@文明福田).

You may also upload your video to your TikTok page, then type “#福田宅家战疫” in the title and finally @文明福田.

All participants should submit a screenshot showing their submission’s likes and views to the account “jiang575730482” on WeChat by Feb. 17 at 11:59 p.m. When adding the “jiang575730482” on WeChat, note “your name + 文明福田” in a message.

Entries are judged based on the popularity of the videos. The first prize is 3,000 yuan (for 400,000 likes, 10,000 reposts and 2,000 comments); the second prize is 1,000 yuan (for 100,000 likes, 5,000 reposts and 500 comments); and creativity prize winners get a chance to win either 8.8 yuan or 500 yuan.

All participants should follow the organizer’s TikTok account @文明福田 for competition updates. The organizer has the right to use the videos in exhibitions and publications. Video creators have the right of authorship but will not get paid.

Longgang District

Staying home is key to fighting the novel coronavirus, but don’t forget to exercise. Upload videos of your fitness routines or any other creative sports activities you’ve been doing at home to win workout-related gifts. You can also give professional instructions on indoor exercise in your video.

Video sizes should be 100M and no longer than 5 minutes. A video should have no more than three creators. Participants can upload their videos to the TikTok (抖音) or Kuaishou (快手) apps and send a link to the organizer’s official WeChat account “szlgwtt” by Feb. 29 to participate.
