Shenzhen confirmed another novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) case on Feb. 16, adding the total number of confirmed cases in the city to 415. The city also confirmed 2 deaths, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.
Of the confirmed cases, 196 are male and 219 are female.
In terms of district distribution, 87 cases were reported in Nanshan District, 79 in Futian District, 71 in Longgang District, 62 in Bao'an District, 34 in Longhua District, 32 in Luohu District, 11 in Guangming District, 7 in Pingshan District, 6 in Yantian District, and 2 in Dapeng New District. The other 24 cases were detected upon entry to the city (from the airport, bus stations, ferry terminals, checkpoints and roadblocks etc.).
Currently, 8 patients are in critical condition, 26 in severe condition and 131 have been discharged from hospital. 2 deaths have been reported so far.
All 282 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 436 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
