SZ confirms an imported COVID-19 case with total cases in city rising to 418

Shenzhen confirmed 1 COVID-19 case on Mar. 1, adding the total number of confirmed cases in the city to 418, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today. 

Of the confirmed cases, 198 are male and 220 are female. 

In terms of district distribution, 87 cases were reported in Nanshan District, 82 in Futian District, 71 in Longgang District, 62 in Bao'an District, 34 in Longhua District, 32 in Luohu District, 11 in Guangming District, 7 in Pingshan District, 6 in Yantian District, and 2 in Dapeng New District. The other 24 cases were detected upon entry to the city (from the airport, bus stations, ferry terminals, checkpoints and roadblocks etc.). 

Currently, 2 patients are in critical condition, 6 in severe condition and 320 have been discharged from hospital. 3 deaths have been reported so far.

All 95 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 103 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
