SZ reports 1 more domestic & 2 more asymptomatic COVID-19 cases

On April 5, Shenzhen confirmed 1 more domestic COVID-19 case and reported 2 more asymptomatic cases. As of 24:00 of April 5, the city had confirmed a total of 455 cases. 1 more patient was discharged from hospital after recovery on the same day. 

Domestic cases

1 new domestic case was confirmed on April 5, bringing the number of domestic cases confirmed in the city to 419. The patient is from Hubei Province. 

Imported cases

No new imported case was confirmed on April 5. The number of imported cases confirmed in the city remains at 36. 

Asymptomatic cases

2 new asymptomatic cases were reported on April 5. The two patients are from Switzerland and Hubei Province respectively. Currently, 23 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation, among which 12 are from outside the Chinese mainland.

Of the confirmed cases, 224 are male and 231 are female. 

So far, 420 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery, and 3 deaths have been reported. 

All the 32 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital. 399 persons in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
