Updates on COVID-19 cases in Shenzhen (April 28)

On April 27, Shenzhen reported 1 new asymptomatic COVID-19 case with 1 more patient discharged from hospital after recovery. As of midnight of April 27, the city had confirmed a total of 461 cases.

Domestic cases

No new domestic case was confirmed on April 27. The number of domestic cases confirmed in the city remains 422. 

Imported cases

No new imported case was confirmed on April 27. The number of imported cases confirmed in the city remains 39. 

Asymptomatic cases

1 new asymptomatic case was reported on April 27. Currently, 12 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation, among which 5 traveled from outside the Chinese mainland.

Of the confirmed cases, 228 are male and 233 are female. 

So far, 447 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery, and 3 deaths have been reported. 

All of the 11 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital. 155 persons in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
