Please Note

As musicians around the world have held virtual concerts from their homes due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Shenzhen Concert Hall is inviting music lovers to submit videos of themselves playing their instruments during this period.

The hall will set a theme at the beginning of each month, then choose and combine excellent or creative videos collected from performers into a virtual concert, and at the end of each month, post the final edited video online.

As the theme “love” has been chosen for May, music lovers can play a love-themed piece with a loving heart sign included in the video, such as a red heart-shaped pillow, a painting or a loving gesture.

Each submitted video should be horizontally filmed, no longer than 10 minutes and in the AVI, MPEG or MOV format. The video file name should be “piece name + performer name.” The performer is required to sign an authorization document to allow the hall to edit and use the video.

Follow the hall’s official WeChat account “szyinyuet” and then send keyword “家庭音乐会” to download the authorization document. You can either sign and take a picture of the printed document or just sign a digital signature in the digital file.

To submit, send the video and the authorization document to program@szyyt.com with 【爱 + piece name + performer name】 as the email’s subject by noon May 20.
