Consuls briefed on rules for export of COVID-19 materials

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shenzhen hosted a webinar on Procurement and Export of Anti-epidemic Materials on Tuesday to assist embassies and consulates in China, chambers of commerce and other foreign trade-related organizations to understand relevant laws and regulations in China about purchasing anti-epidemic materials and guarding against export trade risk.

Lawyers from Guangdong Xinda Law Firm were invited to answer questions for 17 consulates in China and representatives of foreign trade promotion agencies. Consuls of Portugal, Nepal, Russia and Indonesia consulates general in Guangzhou attended the webinar.

The webinar introduced the laws and regulations and matters needing attention in the procurement and export of anti-epidemic materials in China from the aspects of customs supervision, trade risks and export standards. In addition to online exchanges, the organizer also provided a role play video in English to help participants understand relevant policies and regulations.
