The 2020 Bao’an Industry Development Expo is slated to be held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District from Aug. 6 to 8, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported yesterday.
The expo, which will cover an area of 40,000 square meters, is going to fully display the district’s modern industrial system, economic and social development as well as its high-quality business environment in 12 pavilions.
It is expected that around 350 manufacturing enterprises in Bao’an will participate in the expo and more than 70 events will be held during the expo, such as high-end forums, new product launches, project-signing ceremonies and interactive activities.
The expo, the first district-level industrial exposition in Shenzhen, has been an annual showcase for the industrial development of Bao’an since 2016.
According to official statistics, the expo has attracted 1,659 excellent enterprises at home and abroad and more than 840,000 visitors over the past four years, with nearly 200 high-level and quality forums and activities being held.
Additionally, the 6th Shenzhen International Intelligent Equipment Industry Expo and the 9th Shenzhen International Electronic Equipment Industry Expo will also run concurrently at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, according to the Daily.
The expo will present the future layout of the equipment industry and bring together the resources of global industrial chains.
The Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center was officially opened Nov. 4, 2019, and is the world’s largest convention and exhibition center.
It boasts the largest individual building in Shenzhen since the city’s establishment, and also the world’s first construction project integrating large-scale building, rail transit, water conservancy engineering and municipal engineering at the same time.
According to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, the phase I project of the center has recently been awarded the Outstanding Engineering Award of China Steel Structure Gold Award in 2019.
China Steel Structure Gold Award is a national honor recognizing prime engineering projects and the highest award for engineering quality in China’s steel structure construction industry.
