Splendid China

Located on the shore of the gorgeous Shenzhen Bay, Splendid China is a lively, rich, and comprehensive miniature scenery park, which vividly depicts the history, culture, ancient architecture and art and folk customs of ethnic groups in China. Occupying an area of 30 hectares, the whole park can be divided into two parts: Scenic Spot Area and Comprehensive Service Area. In the Scenic Spot Area, more than 100 major Chinese tourist attractions have been miniaturized on a scale of 1:15 and distributed according to their exact geographical location in China.

In the park, travelers can enjoy many unique features, such as the magnificent Terracotta Warriors, the eighth wonder of the world; Zhaozhou Bridge, the oldest stone arch bridge in the world; Ancient Star-Observatory, the world’s oldest astronomical observatory; the Palace Museum and Leshan Buddha Statue, the world’s biggest palace and Buddha Statue; as well as the world’s longest fresco, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and the world’s most wonderful karst landscape, the Stone Forest. In addition, visitors can also experience the solemn and dignified Huangdi Tomb, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, the Ming Tombs, the magnificent Confucian Temple and Temple of Heaven, the grand Taishan Mountain and the graceful beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
